The Ponca City clinic is conveniently located on 14th and serves Ponca City and surrounding communities.  The clinic is run by owner/ manager/ physical therapist Todd McAreavey and by partner/ physical therapist Jason Snyder.  The clinic is a busy 6000 sq ft facility with state of the art equipment including a heated therapeutic pool for aquatic therapy and an excellent staff.  The Ponca City clinic offers physical therapy for all ages and conditions.  They work with sports injuries, work injuries, accident injuries, chronic pain, neurologic conditions and more.  They take most insurance plans and file the claims for you.  If you think you may need physical therapy, give Northern Therapy a call or stop by and schedule an appointment.

Todd McAreavey


Todd earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Dakota in 1990.  He graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1992 with his physical therapy degree.  He opened Northern Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1995 beginning in Blackwell, then expanding to Ponca City and Stillwater.

Todd enjoys meeting new patients and treats a variety of outpatient orthopedic and neurological conditions.  He also performs functional capacity evaluations.

In his spare time, Todd enjoys spending time with his family and friends

Jason M. Snyder

Jason graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1994.  He went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center receiving his physical therapy degree in 1996.  Jason completed a Sport’s Therapy elective while at OU, and was able to work with various professional and Olympic athletes.  He joined Northern Therapy in May of 1996 as a new graduate and helped build the Ponca City location to the thriving practice it is today. 

Jason enjoys treating patients of all ages with the variety of diagnoses he sees on a daily basis. He is a level 1 certified Rocktape/Kinesiotape provider.  He specializes in sports therapy, post-operative joint replacement and rotator cuff repair therapy. 

Jason and his wife Aimee have 2 sons, Jordan and Gage.  In his free time, Jason enjoys golfing, deer hunting, rock concerts, and barbecuing.

Christopher Kyle Fairchild

Kyle graduated from Tulsa Community College with Associates degree in applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2010.  He also earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/Health from Oklahoma State University in 2012. 

Kyle joined the staff at Northern Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2010.  He enjoys working with the complexity of sports injuries and he enjoys the variety of different patients with different diagnoses in the outpatient setting.  He has attended several continuing education courses for shoulder and thoracic treatments.

Kyle enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, and watching sporting events with friends.

Tracy McAreavey

Tracy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1992 where she graduated with distinction.  She and her husband Todd opened their private practice (Northern Therapy and Rehabilitation) in 1995.  They then expanded to Ponca City in 1996 and then to Stillwater in 1998. 

Tracy enjoys the variety of patients and diagnoses she gets to see on a daily basis.  She treats orthopedic and neurological conditions.

In her free time, Tracy enjoys spending time with her family.

Ramona E. Peralez

Ramona Peralez attended Northern Oklahoma College and Oklahoma State University before graduating in May, 2000 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy. 

Ramona has worked for Northern Therapy and Rehabilitation since August, 2000.  She speaks fluent conversational Spanish.  She has completed numerous continuing education courses with a focus on knee and shoulder diagnosis and treatment.  She enjoys treating a wide variety of ages and conditions in the clinic.

Outside the clinic, Ramona enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the University of Kansas Jayhawks and reading.

Anthony Tyrell Short

Ty graduated from Northern Oklahoma College with Associate of Science in 2004.  He continued his education and received his Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Tulsa Community College, graduating in 2006. 

Ty joined the staff at Northern Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2006.  He enjoys working with patients with athletic injuries and getting them back to their sport.  He has had extensive training with the shoulder complex and has attended several continuing education courses on the treatment of shoulder injuries.

Ty lives in Stillwater, OK.  In his spare time, he enjoys watching stand-up comedy, physical fitness and watching the Oklahoma City Thunder.
